TRUSTONE FOUNDATION PROGRAMS

More than 80 years ago, TruStone Financial Credit Union opened its doors thanks to the dedication of eight Minneapolis teachers. Throughout the years, the credit union has always provided its members and the communities it serves with financial education opportunities.

FINANCIAL LITERACY

3Financial literacy is vital to making thoughtful and informed decisions, and early financial learning opportunities help prepare students for a lifetime of financial well-being. The Foundation partners with TruStone Financial and non-profit organizations, such as Junior Achievement of the Upper Midwest, to teach financial education courses online and in classrooms throughout Minnesota and Wisconsin.

SCHOLARSHIPS

2The Foundation awards a minimum of $15,000 in scholarships each year to qualifying TruStone members. Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors based on academic performance, leadership/community/school involvement, work experience and the satisfactory completion of an essay question.
